The day begins with an opening ceremony and continues with many activities throughout the day. Families are invited to come and cheer for the students, and many enjoy eating lunch together at the school.<\/p>\n

I was a member of the cheerleading team in Years 5 and 6. Instead of wearing a typical cheerleading costume, we proudly wore hakama, a traditional Japanese outfit that resembles samurai clothing. We felt very cool!<\/p>\n
